3/17/25 Blinked and I missed it
Hey, all
This week had that odd feeling of being both very eventful and yet still oddly short. The large events of the week were a visit to the hospital for one of my companions who started having foot pain probably from a basketball thing a few months ago and all the elders in the zone catching the march madness fever. The only other big event this week was when the sisters in the district called for backup weeding for a member. It is about 2 weeks left of this 1st transfer and only day 50 of being a missionary (including MTC). I am fairly sure that I have learned loads and probably still have tons more to learn.
A quick spiritual thought I have is to share my favorite scripture Alma 46:12 "And it came to pass that he rent his coat; and he took a piece thereof, and wrote upon it—In memory of our God, our religion, and freedom, and our peace, our wives, and our children"
I really like this scripture because it talks of Captain Moroni's priorities and it is very simply: God, religion, freedom, peace, and family. All these are great things to strive for in our day to day lives.
Till next time,
Elder Hsu
