6/30/25 It's a Wynn Wynn
Hey all!
First and foremost we had a baptism! A couple we're teaching the Wynns got baptized. It was a surprisingly complex thing to do the planning, the ordinance, and the setup/takedown. But it was worth the minor headache for them to have made it. They have been taught for a good while and I am happy that I was here for when they made it to the waters of baptism. That was the big highlight of the week. The other bit of big news is a vehicle update. We got upgraded from a Toyota rav4 to an Toyota Tacoma. And a truck is a lot better designed for these bumpy dirt roads.
Miracle of the week (other than the baptism): We had a hike a lunch and a lesson all at the same time. A member and one of the friends we are teaching invited us to join them on a mini hike of a seasonal lake (lake during rainy season/marshish during summer) and we had a QnA type lesson along the way. We just had some simple sandwiches while sitting on a few logs then we're on our way out.
Wise words of the week: I'll keep it simple this time as summer is coming into full swing make sure to hydrate and via sunscreen or shade don't get sunburned. Because sunburns aren't fun.
Love you all,
Elder Hsu
