6/9/25 Very poco Español

Afternoon (or whenever you read this) all!

This week started on a unique note. As of last weeks email I mentioned the Spanish Elders popping their tire, it's repair took 2 days and during that time they were split between us and the Lakeport elders so that they could continue doing missionary work with us. One of their lessons on Tuesday was a English lesson for a Hispanic dude and it was eye opening how limited and confusing just English is. Elder Galvan was the one that joined us and he had a gift for Spanish as it is his 1st language and I was actually able to help on the English lesson by verifying how weird English was for some circumstances (ex. read instead of readed).
Miracle of the week: there is the one guy we have been teaching who needs a ride to church and for the last few weeks trying to coordinate his ride was a minor headache. But this last Sunday we got a solid ride and he loved being there for the meeting. The cherry on top was that he chatted with members and now is in control of his ride to church and even has a backup! Little by little good things can happen.
One of the greatest pieces of Wisdom from this week is when you take the high road or, in other words live like Christ did, it is a lot easier for the other side to take the high road as well. If you participate in an argument both sides lose. So always lead with love even if the person opposite leads with anger.

Love all yall,
Elder Hsu
