11/10/25 I would bike 500 more
Just to be the elder who biked 1,000 miles to be knockin at your door.
Good day all,
This week had a fun to go around and I am starting to adjust physically to the tough and rigorous all day everyday biking. Milestones were on Wednesday it rained a bit, but it was exchanges so I was in a vehicle instead of getting doused. Then we had zone conference where we got a lot of instruction and the senior missionaries spoiled us with Chicken Condon Bleu as lunch.
There were a few lows this week with Elder Payne broke his kickstand (guess he kicked it a little too hard or a little too wrong). Fortunately we were able to get a replacement for it by the end of the week. So far so good for my bike and it's wellbeing.
The other note is that we had a baptism Elder Payne was the one doing it and he killed it. I see a bright future ahead for the boy. And better yet we are teaching his family as well and they're also working towards being baptized.
As more and more people play unnecessary Christmas music, I would emphasize this time as a a period of Thanksgiving and being thankful for all that we have and have been given. We all have gifts they can be physical things or lessons learned. And the best use of these gifts is to give to others.
Love all yall,
Elder Hsu
